Expand production and enhance efficiency! Southeast Quartz has officially launched the production of a new high-purity quartz tube line with an annual capacity of 200 tons

On October 18, Lianyungang Southeast Quartz Products Co., Ltd.'s intelligent production line with an annual output of 200 tons of high-purity quartz tubes was officially put into operation in Donghai County Economic Development Zone. With a total investment of 120 million yuan, the project introduces imported German fused quartz molding equipment, fully automatic polishing machines and online inspection systems, realizing the whole-process intelligent control from raw material feeding, high-temperature melting, molding processing to finished product inspection. The production efficiency is 60% higher than that of traditional production lines, and the product qualification rate is stable at over 99.5%.

The production line put into operation this time mainly produces photovoltaic-grade and semiconductor-grade quartz tubes, with product diameters covering Φ20mm-Φ300mm and lengths up to 3000mm. It has the characteristics of high light transmittance (≥92%), low hydroxyl content (≤10ppm), and excellent thermal shock resistance, which can be widely used in core processes such as photovoltaic cell texturing, diffusion, annealing, as well as semiconductor epitaxy and etching. After the project reaches full capacity, the total production capacity of Southeast Quartz's quartz tubes will increase to 500 tons/year, further consolidating its leading position in the domestic quartz tube field.

"Intelligent upgrading is the core path for enterprises to improve quality and efficiency." The production director of Southeast Quartz introduced, "The new production line adopts a digital management system, which can monitor production data in real time, optimize process parameters, reduce energy consumption by 15% and labor costs by 30%, realizing a 'high-efficiency, energy-saving, precise' green production model."

Industry experts note that Southeast Quartz's expansion precisely aligns with the development needs of emerging downstream industries. The release of 200 tons of production capacity will effectively address the domestic supply gap for high-end, high-purity quartz tubes, reducing downstream enterprises' reliance on imports. As the company advances toward scaled production and advanced technology in high-purity quartz materials, it will not only enhance its global competitiveness but also solidify the material foundation for the high-quality development of China's strategic emerging industries, including semiconductors and photovoltaics.
